AN ORDINANCE OF TKE CITY OF CARLSBAD AMENDING ORDINANCE NO, 9060, CHANGING CERTAIN DESIGNATED PROPERTY FROM ZONE R-1 TO ZONE R-3, IN THE CITY OF CARLSBAD. The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does ordain as follows: SECTION 1. SECTION 302 OF ORDINANCE NO, 9060 AMENDED. Section 302 of Ordinance No. 9060 is hereby amended to provide that the follow- ing described lands be changed in zone from Zone R-1 (Residential) to Zone R-3 (Multiple-family Residential), said lands being situated in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California, more particularly described as: v Beginning at the most northwesterly corner of said Tract 117; thence south 0" 05* West 147.74 feet to a point, said point being the true point of beginning; thence south 34O 33I east 221.20 feet; thence south 8ge 57t east 665.17 feet; thence north 0" 05* east 330 feet; thence north 89" 57* west 606.95 feet (Record 606.21 feet); thence south 0" 05* west 148.69 feet, thence westerly to said TRUE EXCEPTING the following described parcel: Beginning at the most northwesterly corner of said Tract 117; thence south O* 05* west 147.74 feet; thence south 34" 33' east 221.20 feet; thence south 89O 57l east 533.17 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence continuing south 89" 57f east 82 feet; thence north Oo 05f east 330 feet, thence north 89" 57s west 82 feet, thence south 0. 05' west 330 feet to the TRUE POINT OF' BEGINNING. SECTION 2. ZONING MAP AMENDMENT NO. 55 ADOPTED, The PomT OF BEGINNING; location and boundaries of said zone change, herein ordained, are to be shown on the zoning map amendment No. 55, which map is attached hereto and made a part of the ordinance. SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force on the thirty-first day from and after its final passage. SECTION 4. PUBLICATION. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad l is hereby directed to cause this ordinance to be published once in the Carlsbad Journal, a newspaper published and of general circulation in said City of I ~ Carlsbad.
