ORDINANCE NO. 1088
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD AMWDING ORDINANCE NO, 1040 REGARDING
OFFICE OF CITY MANAGER.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City of Carlsbad as follows:
SECrrION 1, SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE 1040 AMENDED, Section
1 of Ordinance No, 1040 is hereby amended to read as follows:
ttSECTION 1.
The office of City Manager is hereby created and establish-
ed, The City Manager shall be appointed by the City Council
wholly on the basis of his executive and administrative qua-
lif ications and abilityO1*

SECTION 2, SECTION 25 OF ORDINANCE NO, 1040 AMENDED.
Section 25 of Ordinance No, 1040 is hereby amended to read as
follows:
t8SECTIOM 25 REMOVAL FROM OFFICE. The City Manager may
be removed fram office at any time by the City Council at
its sole discretion; provided however that the City Manager
shall be given at Least thirty days notice prior to the ef-
fective date of said removal,
