The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does ordain as follows: * SECTION 1. SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO. 3069 AMENDED, Section 1 of Ordinance No. 3069 is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 1. Keeping animals that cause offensive odor, noise, 11 or insects unlawful. It shall be unlawful for any person to keep, maintain, or cause or allow to be kept or maintained within the of the City of Carlsbad any animal that causes odor, noise, or the gathering of insects which is offensive to the senses of any person when the offended person is situated off of the lot or lots on which the animal is kept or maintained. SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force on the thirty-first day from and after the date of its adoption. SECTION 3. PUBLICATION; The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby directed to cause this ordinance to be published once in the Carlsbad Journal, a newspaper publish ed and of general circulation in the City of Carlsbad First read at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 15th day of i/ September, 1964, and finally passed, approved and adopted at a regular meeting held on the 6th day of October, 1964, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Atkinson, Hughes, Jardine and Neiswender NOES: None ABSENT: Councilman Dunne ATTEST: Carlsbad, California (SEAL)
