ORDINANCE NO, 3074
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD REGARDING
SECTION 1: Unclaimed bicycles in 1 I Department of the City of Carlsbad shal be held by the Police
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does ordain as follows:
Depzrtment for a period of at least three (3) months and shall

1 thereafter be sold at public auction to the highest bidder.
Unclaimed property, other than bicycles, in the possession of the 1
Police nepartment of the City of Carlsbad shall be held by the 1
after such property shall be sold atpublic auction to the highest
bidder.
SECTION 2: Notices of such sales shall be given by the Chief
of Police at least five (5) days before the time fixed therefor by
pblication once in a newspa2er of general circulation published ir
the County of San Diego.
SECTION 3: All monies realized from said sales shall be
jeposited into and become a part of the General Fund of the City of
:arlskad.
SECTION 4: EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall take effect
tnd be in force on the thirty-first day fron and after its adoption
SECTION 5: PUBLICATION. The City Clerk of the City of
:arlsbad is hereby directed to cause this ordinance to be published
nce in the Carlsbad Journal, a newspaper published and of general

AYES: Councilmen Neiswender, McComas, Dunne, Jardine and Castro.
