ORDINANCE NO. 9264
E OF THE CITY OF CARL B D PROHIBITING USES
WHICH MAY BE IN CONFLICT WITH CONTEMPLATED ZONING
PROPOSAL ,
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does ordain as
f 01 lows :
With respect to any buildings being built or to be built
within Carlsbad Manor Unit No. I, no building height shall exceed
sixteen feet.
EFFECTIVE DATE :
This Ordinance shall take effect immediately pursuant to
Government Code Section 65858 because it is for the protection of
the public safety, health and welfare and is adopted for the
purpose of prohibiting any use which may be in conflict with a
contemplated zoning proposal presently being considered by the
Planning Department of this City for the restriction of height
of buildings within the City,
PUBLICATION:
The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby directed
to cause this ordinance to be published once in the Carlsbad
Journal, a newspaper published and of general circulation in the
city of Carlsbad.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
City Council held March 2, 1971, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Dunne, Jardine, Castro and Lewis.
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman McCo
