HomeMy WebLinkAbout1971-04-06; City Council; 9266; Rancho Agua Hedionda Lot I (NE/ECR & PAR) annexation MPb .. 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 ORDINANCE NO. 9266 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THECITY OF CARLSBAD, ADOPTING A MASTER PLAN SUBJECT TO ANNEXATION OF PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, LOCATED ON THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF EL CAMINO REAL AND PALOMAR AIRPORT ROAD. The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, DOES ORDAIN that a Master Plan for the hereinafter described real pro- perty be adopted in the following particulars: SECTION 1. PROPERTY DESCRIPTION. That portion of Lot I, Rancho Agua Hedionda Map 823, in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California; being Parcel 6, Book 207, Page 010, of the Assessor's Map of San Diego County, more particularly des- cribed in application on file in the City Planning Department. SECTION 2. MASTER PLAN. The Master Plan, marked "Exhibit A;!' attached hereto, entitled "Master Plan for Planned Community," is subject to the following limitations and conditions: the Master Plan (Exhibit "A"), and proposed Residential uses shall be developed in keeping with the City of Carlsbad's Planned Commun- ity Ordinance and, that portion of the Housing Element which encourages mixture of housing types, preservation of existing topography, and harmony in architecture. Pl an 3. The Specific Plans of development for all uses shown on tht Master Plan shall be submitted to the Planning Commission and City Council for approval, and presented at a public hearing. 4. Conceptual designs of such Specific Plans shall be prepart by architects or 1 andscape architects, special izing in P1 anned Community and Cemetery development, in order to assure care in the treatment of existing topographic co ns and organization of the land uses. 5. Land uses adjacent to El Camino Real shall be developed with an architectural theme in keeping with the name and histori- cal background of El Camino Real. 6. Agreements concerning the general use , maintenance, and ownership of open space areas, shall be agreed upon between the City staff and the developers, and submitted to the Parks and Recreation Commission, Planning Commission and City Council , for review and approval during public hearings for the Specific Plans (See Item 3 above.) 1.
