ORDINANCE NO. 1136
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD FIXING THE AMOUNT OF REVENUE FROM PROPERTY TAXES NECESSARY TO SUPPORT THE DEPARTMENTS OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD AND FIXING THE AMOUNT OF REVENUE FROM PROPERTY TAXES NECESSARY TO PAY THE BONDED INDEBTEDNESS OF THE "1962 SEWER BONDS, SERIES A, B, AND C" AND "1966 LIBRARY BONDS" FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1971-72.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. REVENUE REQUIRED FROM PROPERTY TAXES FOR THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD. The City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
pursuant to Section 51508 of the Government Code of the State of
California, does hereby, by this ordinance, fix the amount of
revenue from property taxes necessary to support its departments
for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1971, and ending June 30,
1972, to be in the amount of $980,897.00.
SECTION 2. REVENUE REQUIRED FROM PROPERTY TAXES FOR THE
"1962 SEWER BONDS, SERIES A, B, AND C." The City Clerk of the
City of Carlsbad, pursuant to Section 51508 of the Government Code
of the State of California does hereby, by this ordinance, fix the
amount of revenue from property taxes necessary to pay the bonded
indebtedness of the "City of Carlsbad 1962 Sewer Bonds, Series
A, 6, and C" for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1971 and ending
June 30, 1972, to be in the amount of $45,713.00
SECTION 3. REVENUE REQUIRED FROM PROPERTY TAXES FOR THE
"1966 LIBRARY BONDS". The City Council of the City of Carlsbad
pursuant to Section 51508 of the Government Code of the State of
California does hereby, by this ordinance, fix the amount of
revenue from property taxes necessary to pay the bonded indebtednes
of the "City of Carlsbad 1966 Library Bonds" for the fiscal year
commencing July 1, 1971 and ending June 30, 1972, to be in the
amount of $24,275.00.

SECTION 4. The City of Carlsbad City Council does herewith
idopt the following schedule of anticipated expenditures of the
Zity of Carlsbad for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1971, and
2nding June 30, 1972.

SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall take effect on the date of
its passage and adoption, pursuant to the provisions of subsection
'd" of Section 36,937 of the Government Code of the State of

SECTION 6. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby
iirected to cause this ordinance to be published once in the Carls-
)ad Journal, a newspaper published and of general circulation in
;he City of Carlsbad.
