ORDINANCE NO. 8059
The City Counsel of the City of Carlsbad does hereby ordai
that Chapter 18.04 of the Carslbad Municipal Code is amended by the
addition of the following sections: I
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD AMENDING CHAPTER 18.04 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING SECTIONS 78.84.150 AND SECTION 18.04.160, REGARDING STREET NUMBERS AND STREET SIGNS.

partment and the Police and Fire Departments. Location and number

Section 18.04.150: Each occupancy, principal building,
structure, dwelling unit, and mobile home space within the City
shall be identified by a number of combination of number and letter.
Such numbers shall be in harmony with other established postal
addresses in the area. Such numbers shall be a minimum of three
(3) inches in size and shall be of contrasting colors so as to be
readable from the adjoining streets. Numbers shall be designated
and assigned by the City Building Department.
Section 18.04.160: All private and public streets within
the City shall have designated street names which shall be identi-
fied by signs. The site and type of street signs and the names of

approved and adopted at a regular meeting held on the 21st day of
December , 1971, by the following vote:
AYES: Cmn. Dunne, McComas, Jardine, Castro and Lewis
NOES: None.
