ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD AMENDING S5.20.060 (6) RE TAXI CAB
REGULATIONS. (AMENDING ORDINANCE 6010 56)
§5. 20. 060 (6) is hereby amended to read as follows:
“(6) that it appears to the City Council that there are sufficient taxi
abs for hire in the City to fully serve the public, and that the public interest,
onvenience and necessity de not require the issuance of such certificate;”
EFFECTIVE DATE: This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
m the thirty first day from and after its adoption.
PUBLICATION: The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby
Lirected to cause this Ordinance to be published once in the Carlsbad Journal
i newspaper published and of general circulation in said City of Carlsbad.
First read at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
3arlsbad held on the 7th day of March , 1972, and finally passed,
xpproved and adopted at a regular meeting held on the 21 S t day of
March , 1972, by the following vote.
AYES: Cmn. Dunne, McComas, Jardine and Lewis.
