ORDINANCE NO. 9297
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD REGARDING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR
CIRCUSES AND CARNIVALS; AMENDING SECTION 21.42.010(2)(d) OF THE CARLSBAD MUNLCIPAL CO5E; AMENDING ORDINANCE NOS. 9274, 9252, 9249, 9241, 9239, 9212, 9205, 9090, and 9060.
SECTION 21.42.010(2)(d) of the Carlsbad Municipal Code is
iereby amended to read as follows:
IICircuses and carnivals, only those constructed and operated
iy a community school or church group for a period of not more than
two days, provided that such use shall be confined to school or
:hurch property. The City Manager shall have the exclusive authori-
ty to issue or deny a Conditional Use Permit for circuses and
zarni Val s .
EFFECTIVE DATE: This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force on the thirty-first day from and after its adoption.
PUBLICATION: The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is
qereby directed to cause this Ordinance to be published once in
the Carlsbad Journal, a newspaper of general circulation in said
:ity of Carlsbad.
First read at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
2ity of Carlsbad held on the zistday of March , 1972, and
finally passed, approved and adopted at a regular meeting held on
the 4th day of April , 1972, by the following vote, to wit:

ABSENT: None.
