ORDINANCE NO. 1162
AN ORDINANCE OF THE C TY COUNCIL OF THE CITT
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 2,
CHAPTER 208 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE
BY AMENDING SECTIONS 2.08.020 and 2.08.030
TO INCREASE THE COMPENSATION OF THE CITY CLERK
AND THE CITY TREASURER.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, does
irdain as follows:
SECTION 1. That Title 2, Chapter 2.08 of the Carlsbad
4unicipal Code be amended by the amendment of Section 2.08.020
md 2.08.030 to read as follows:
"2.08.020 Compensation of City Treasurer. The compensation
of the City Treasurer is fixed at the sum of one hundred
twenty-five dollars per month, payable in equal installments,
in arrears, on the sixteenth and first days of each and
every month. ''
"2.08.030 Compensation of City Clerk. The compensation of
the City Clerk is fixed at the sum of two hundred twenty-
five dollars per month payable in equal installments, in
arrears, on the sixteenth and the first days of each and
every month.
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effictive thirty
(30) days after its adoption and the City Clerk shall certify to
the adoption of this ordinance and cause it to be published at
least once in the Carlsbad Journal within fifteen (15) days after
its adoption.
INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a regular meeting of the
Carlsbad City Council held on the 7th day of November I
1973, and thereafter PASSED AND ADOPTED at a/re&urar meeting of
said City Council held on the 21st day of November 1973, by
