ORDINANCE NO. 9402
AN RDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING
TITLE 21, CHAPTER 21.44 OF THE CARLSBAD
MUNICIPAL CODE BY THE AMENDPUNT OF
SECTION 21.44.210 TO REVISE THE PARKING
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE P-M ZONE.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California
does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1: Title 21, Chapter 21.44 of the Carlsbad
Municipal Code is amended by the amendment of Section 21.44.210
to read as follows:
"21.44.210 Parking spaces required--P-M zone. Notwith-
standing the provisions of Section 21.44.130, the number of parking
spaces required for all uses within the P-M zone shall be as
follows:
one space for each 400 square feet of building area. None of said
spaces shall be located in a front, side or rear yard adjoining
a street, or within ten feet of an interior side or rear property line.

(A) Compact car spaces are located in separate
parking aisles from standard sized spaces,
(B) Aisles for compact car spaces are clearly
marked with permanent pole signs denoting "Compact Cars Only",

proximity to the facility which they serve so as to encourage
their maximum usage,
