AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING
TITLE 21 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE
BY AMENDING THE ZONING MAP TO GRANT A
PREANNEXATION CHANGE OF ZONE (ZC-145)
FROM SAN DIEGO COUNTY E-1-A TO CITY OF CARLSBAD R-1-7500 and R-1-9000 ON PROPERTY
LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF EL CAMINO REAL
BETWEEN ELM AVENUE EXTENDED AND CHESTNUT
AVENUE. APPLICANT: INVESTOR'S DEVELOP-
MENT AND MORTGAGE CORPORATION
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California
does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1: Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code is
amended by the amendment of the zoning map preannexation change
of zone from San Diego County E-1-A to City of Carlsbad R-1-7500
for the following described property:
That portion of Lot J of Rancho Agua Hedionda in
the County of San Diego, State of California, ac-
cording to Map 823 filed in the office of the County
Recorder of San Diego County, November 16, 1896,
described as follows:
Beginning at a point of the Northeast corner of Lot 13 of El Camino Mesa, Map 6693, said map being filed in the office of the County Recorder, County
of San Diego, State of California: thence
1. S 89O44'05" E a distance of 151.04 feet; thence 2. N 6O29'30" W a distance of 843.43 feet; thence
3. S 89°49'02" E a distance of 2,335.37 feet; thence 4. S 23O27'30" E a distance of 1,313.00 feet; thence 5. S 82°00'00" W a distance of 2,763.45 feet: thence
6. N 49O19'55" W a distance of 220.62 feet; thence
7. N 6O29'30" W a distance of 585.14:
to the point of beginning.
Excepting therefrom:
1. S 89O44'05" E a distance of 151.04 feet: thence
2. N 6O29'30" W a distance of 843.43 feet; thence
3. S 89O49'02" E a distance of 1,070.00 feet: thence
4. S 0°10'58" W a distance of 330.00 feet; thence
5. S 25O49'02" E a distance of 1,000.00 feet: thence
6. S 8°00'00" E a distance of 140.00 feet: thence 7. S 82°00'00" W a distance of 1,370.00 feet; thence
8. N 49O19'55" V? a distance of 220.62 feet; thence

are rezoned from San Diego County E-1-A to City of Carlsbad

EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty
days after its adoption, and the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this ordinance and cause it to be published at least
once in the Carlsbad Journal within fifteen days after its adop-
tion.
INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a meeting of the Carlsbad
City Council held on the 7th day of January , 1975, and
thereafter
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a meeting of said City Council held
on the 21St day of January , 1975, bY the following vote,
to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Frazee, Chase, Lewis and Skotnicki
NOES: None
