HomeMy WebLinkAbout1976-06-15; City Council; 9457; CMC 21.06.030 amend - Newport Shores Builders rezone RD-M to R-1ORDINANCE NO. 9457 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, MTENDING TITLE 21 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE BY MENDING THE ZONING P4AP TO GRANT A CHANGE OF ZONE (ZC-179) FROM RD-M (RESI- DENTIAL DEMSITY-MULTIPLE) TO R-1 (SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) FOR 48 ACRES GENERALLY LOCATED OX THE WEST SIDE OF EL CAFVINO MAL, SOUTH OF THE ALGA ROAD ALIGNMENT. APPLICANT: NEWPORT SHORES BUILDERS. The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, does ordain as follows: SECTION 1: Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code is amended by the amendment of the zoning map to grant a change of zone (ZC-179) from RD-EI (Residential Density-Multiple) to R-1 (Single Family Residential) on property as shown on map marked ZC-179,Exhibit "A", attached hereto and made a part hereof. EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty days after its adoption, and the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and cause it to be published at least once in the Carlsbad Journal within fifteen days after its adoptior INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a meeting of the Carlsbad City Council held on the lstday of June , 1976, and thereafter PASSED AND ADOPTED at a meeting of said City Council held on the 15th day of June , 1976, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Frazee, Lewis, Packard, Skotnicki and Councilwoman Casler NOES: N~~~ ABSENT: None $9 /r'y$5j&fr L,23&&g> $@ ROQERT C.
