AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFOlWIA, AMENDING
TITLE 21 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE
BY AMENDING THE ZONING MAP TO GRANT A
CHANGE OF ZONE (ZC-188) FROM R-P (RESIDENTIAL
PROFESSIONAL) TO C-2 (GENERAL COMMERCIAL)
ON PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED ON THE WEST
SIDE OF ROOSEVELT STREET BETWEEN GRAND AVENUE
AND BEECH AVENUE. APPLICANT: D. K. DEWHURST
AND TONY HOWARD-JONES .
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California does
ordain as follows:
SECTION I: Title 21 of the Carlsbad Muncipal Code is
amended by the amendment of the zoning map to grant a change of
zone (ZC-188) from R-P (Residential Professional) to C-2 (General
Commercial) on property as shown on map marked ZC-188, Exhibit A,
attached hereto and made a part hereof.
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty
days afker its adoption, and the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this ordinance and cause it to be published at least
once in the Carlsbad Journal within fifteen days after its adoptior
INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a meeting of the Carlsbad City
Council held on the 3rd day of May , 1977, and thereafter
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a meeting of said City Council held
on the l7thday of May , 1977 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES : Councilmen Frazee, Lewis, Packard and Councilwoman Casler
NOES : None
ABSENT: Councilman Skotni
