ORDINANCE NO. 31 07
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 10, CHAPTER 10.44 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE
BY THE ADDITION OF SECTION 10.44.070 TO ESTABLISH A PRIMA FACIE SPEED LIMIT ON A
PORTION OF LA COSTA AVENUE
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereby
ordain as follows:
That Title 10, Chapter 10.44, of the Carlsbad Municipal
Code is amended by the addition of Section 10.44.070 to read as
follows:
"10.44.070 La Costa Avenue. The prima facie speed
limit on La Costa Avenue from its intersection with El Camino
Real to its intersection with Rancho Santa Fe Road is hereby
determined and declared to be forty-five mixes per hour.''
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective
thirty days after its adoption, and the City Clerk shall certify
to the adoption of this ordinance and cause it to be published
at least once in the Carlsbad Journal within fifteen days after
its adoption.
INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a regular meeting of the
Carlsbad City Council held on the 20th day of September d
1977; and thereafter
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of said Council
on the 4th day of October , 1977, by the following
vote to wit:
