AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 10, CHAPTER 10.44 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE
BY THE ADDITION OF SECTION 10.44.080 TO ESTABLISH A PRIMA FACIE SPEED LIMIT ON A PORTION OF ELM AVENUE
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereby ordain as follows:
That Title 10, Chapter 10.44, of the Carlsbad Municipal Code is amended
by the addition of Section 10.44.080 to read as follows:
"10.44.080 Elm Avenue. The prima facie speed limit on Elm Avenue from
its intersection with Pi0 Pic0 Drive to its intersection with Donna Drive is
hereby determined and declared to be thirty-five miles per hour."
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty days after its
adoption, and the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance
and cause it to be published at least once in the Carlsbad Journal within
fifteen days after its adoption.
INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City
Council held on the 6th day of December , 1977, and thereafter
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of said Council on the
, 1977, by the following vote, to wit:
