ORDINANCE NO. 1210
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCI OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING
CHAPTER 2.04 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL
CODE TO PROVIDE FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT
OF MEETING TIME AND PROCEDURAL RULES
FOR THAT MEETING BY CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, does
ordain as follows:
SECTION 1: That Title 2, Chapter 2.04 of the Carlsbad
Municipal Code is amended by the amendment of Section 2.04.010
to read as follows:
"2.04.010 Meeting time, place and procedure. The City
Council shall hold reqular meetinss on the first and third
Tuesdays of each calendar month. -Should a regular meeting day
fall on a legal holiday, then the regular meeting of the Council
otherwise scheduled to be held on such legal holiday shall be
held on the first business day thereafter. City Council meetings
shall be held at the City Council Chambers at 1200 Elm Avenue,
Carlsbad, California, or at such other place to which a meeting
is adjourned. The City Council shall hold their regular meetings
at such time as they may specify by resolution. The City Council
shall have authority to adopt procedural rules for conducting
all meetings by resolution."
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty
days after its adoption, and the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this ordinance and cause it to be published at least
once in the Carlsbad Journal within fifteen days after its
adoption.

INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a regular meeting of the
Carlsbad City Council held on the 4th day'of ~~ri1 , 1978
and thereafter
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of said City
Council held on the 18th day of April , 1978 by the
following vote, to wit:

Councilmen Packard, Skotnicki, Anear and Councilwoman Casler
ABSENT : None
