ORDINANCE NO. 7034
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA
AMENDING TITLE 17, CHAPTER 17.04 OF
THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE BY THE AMENDMENT OF SECTION 17.04.060 TO
CHANGE THE LETTER SIZE REQUIREMENT
FOR FIRE LANE SIGNS.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California,
hereby ordains as follows:
SECTTON 1: That Title 17, Chapter 17.04 of the Carlsbad
Municipal Code is amended by the amendment of Section 17,04.060
to delete the words "to have six inch high letters'' and replace
them with the following:
"to have adequate lettering as approved by the Fire Chief."
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty
days after its adoption, and the City Clerk shall certify to
the adoption of this ordinance and cause it to be published at
least once in the Carlsbad Journal within fifteen days after its
3doption.
INTRODUCED AND FTRST READ at a regular meeting of the
3arlsbad City Council held on the 17th day of Ju1.y , 1979
