AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 13, CHAPTER 13.08, OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE BY THE AMENDMENT OF SECTION 13.08.081(c) TO REVISE THE NUMBER OF EQUIVALENT DWELLING UNITS REQUIRED BY MOT E L S
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, does
ordain as follows:
SECTION I: That Title 13, Chapter 13.08, Section 13.08.081
of the Carlsbad Municipal Code is amended by amendment of Subsec-
tion (c) (5) to read as follows:
"(5) Each room of a lodging house, boarding house, hotel, motel or other multiple dwelling designed for sleeping accommoda- tions for one or more individuals

EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty
days after its adoption, and the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this ordinance and cause it to be published at least
once in the Carlsbad Journal within fifteen days after its adop-
tion.
INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a regular meeting of the City
Council held the 18thday of December , 1979 and there-
after
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of said City Council
held the 2nd day of January , 19863 by the following
vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Packard, Skotnicki, Anear, Lewis and Council woman Casler NOES: None
