AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 9547 TO EXEMPT PROJECTS
IN THE R-W ZONE FROM THE MORATORIUM ON
THE PROCESSING OF SUBDIVISIONS FOR THE
CONVERSION OF EXISTING STRUCTURES TO
CONDOMINIUMS.
WHEREAS, the City Council has by the adoption of Ordinance
io. 9547 declared a citywide moratorium on the processing of
ubdivision maps for the conversion of existing structures to
:ondominiums; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that pending
:ompletion of the Housing Element revisions, the processing
If conversions in the R-W Zone can be allowed to continue without
idversely affecting the purposes to be achieved by the adoption
if Ordinance No. 9547.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the
5ty of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
SECTION 1: That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 9547 is amended
by the addition of the following:
"This ordinance shall also not apply to applications for
subdivisions to convert projects in the R-W Zone to
condominiums. It
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty
days after its adoption, and the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this ordinance and cause it to be published at least
once in the Carlsbad Journal within fifteen days after its
adoption.
INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a regular meeting of the
Carlsbad City Council held on the Ist day of April , 1980
and thereafter
