ORDINANCE NO. 1232
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING CHAPTER
2.08 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE TO INCREASE THE COMPENSATION OF THE CITY TREASURER, AND TO SPECIFY THE PAYMENT SCHEDULE OF THE COMPENSATION FOR THE CITY TREASURER AND CITY CLERK
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, does
ordain as follows:
SECTION 1: That Title 2, Chapter 2.08, Section 208.020 of
the Carlsbad Municipal Code is amended to read as follows:
“2.08.020 Compensation of City Treasurer. of the City Treasurer is fixed at the sum of One-Hundred Seventy-Five Dollars per month, payable bi-weekly. I’
The compensation
SECTION 2. That Title 2, Chapter 2.08, Section 2.08.030
of the Carlsbad Municipal Code is amended to read as follows:
“2.08.030 Compensation of City Clerk. The compensation of the City Clerk is fixed at the sum of Two-Hundred Twenty-Five Dollars per month, payable bi-weekly.”
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty
days after its adoption, and the City Clerk shall certify to
the adoption of this ordinance and cause it to be published at
least once in the Carlsbad Journal within fifteen days after
its adoption.
INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a regular meeting of the Carlsba
City Council held on the 1st day of July , 1980, and
