ORDINANCE NO. 3131
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 10, CHAPTER 10.44 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE BY THE
ADDITION OF SECTION 10.44.090 TO DESIGNATE SPEED
CONTROL ON ALGA ROAD BETWEEN EL CAMINO REAL AND
AL I CANTE ROAD
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, hereby ordains as
fol 1 ows :
SECTION 1: That Title 10, Chapter 10.44 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code
is amended by the addition of Section 10.44.090 to read as follows:
"10.44.090 Alga Road. The prima facie speed limit on Alga Road from its
intersection with El Camino Real to its intersection with Alicante Road is
determined and declared to be forty-five miles per hour.
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty days after its
adoption, and the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance
and cause it to be published at least once in the Carlsbad Journal within
fifteen days after its adoption.
INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a regular meeting of the City Council held
the 16thday of June , 1981, and thereafter
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of said City Council held'the
7th day Of July , 1981, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Mahers Packard, Casler, Anw, Lex& and Kulchin
