ORD NANCE NO. 3136
AN ORDINANCE OF THE C TY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING ITLE 10, CHAPTER 10.28 OF THE CARLS-
BAD MUNICIPAL CODE BY THE AMENDMENT OF SECTION 10.28.100
AND THE ADDITION OF SECTION 10.28.290 DESIGNATING STOP
CONTROLS AT FOREST AVENUE AND HIGHLAND DRIVE
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, hereby ordains as
follows:
SECTION 1: That Title 10, Chapter 10.28 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code
is amended by the amendment of Section 10.28.100 to read as follows:
"10.28.100 Highland Drive. Drivers shall stop where the following de-
scribed streets intersect Highland Drive:
Arland Road
Basswood Avenue
Buena Vista Way
Chestnut Avenue
Chinquapin Avenue
Elm Avenue
E 1 mwood S t reet
Fore s t Avenue
Hillside Drive
Flagnol i a Avenue
Oak Avenue
Pine Avenue
Tamarack Avenue."
SECTION 2: That Title 10, Chapter 10.28 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code
amended by the addition of Section 10.28.290 to read as follows:
''10.88.290 Forest Avenue. Drivers shall stop where the following de-
scribed street intersects Forest Avenue:
H i gh 1 and Drive .'I
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty days after its
adoption, and the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance
and cause it to be published at least once in the Carlsbad Journal within
fifteen days after its adoption.
INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a regular meeting of the City Council held
