ORDINANCE NO. 4016
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA AMENDING TITLE 14, CHAPTER 14.16 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE BY THE AMENDMENT OF SECTIONS 14.16.060 AND 14.16.120 TO PROVIDE FOR THE FIXING OF CHARGES FOR WATER METER AND SERVICE INSTALLATIONS BY CITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California does ordain as
fol 1 ows :
Section 1. That Title 14, Chapter 14.16 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code
is amended by the amendment of Sections 14.16.060 and 14.16.120 to read as
foll ows :
"14.16.060 Meter Installation Charges: Applicants for installation of
water meters shall pay installation charges as set from time to time by a
Resolution of the City Council.

EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty days after its
adoption, and the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance
and cause it to be published at least once in the Carlsbad Journal within

INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City
Council held on the 1st day of SeDtenber, 1981, and thereafter
