ORDINANCE NO. 3158
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 10, CHAPTER 10.40
OF THE CARlSBAD MUNICIPAL CORE BY THE ADDITION OF
SECTION 10.40.054~ 10.40.056; AND 10.40,057 TO RESTRICT
PARKING ON PORTIONS OF MADISON STREET, ROOSEVELT STREET, AND GRAND AVENUE.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, hereby ordains as
€allows :
That Title 10 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code is amended by the addition to
Shapter 10.40, to read as follows:

10.40.054 Parking Restricted on Portion of Madison Street. Parking of

vehicles is prohibited during all hours of the day and night on both sides of
Roosevelt Street between Elm Avenue and Grand Avenue where planter areas protrud( into the street.
10.40.Q57 Parking Restricted on Portion of Grand Avenue. Parking of
vehicles is prohibited during all hours of the day and night on the south side of Grand Avenue at Madison Street and Roosevelt Street where planter areas protrude into the street.
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty days after its
adoption, and the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of the ordinance and
cause it to be published at least once in the Carlsbad Journal within fifteen
days after its adoption.
INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a regular meeting of the City Council held the
