ORDINANCE NO. 9742
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 21, CHAPTER
21.10, SECTION 21.10.010 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL
CODE BY THE AMENDMENT OF SECTION 21.10.010(2)
REGARDING PRIVATE ,GARAGES IN THE R-1 ZONE.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, does
irdain as follows:
SECTION 1: That Title 21, Chapter 21.10, of the Carlsbad
Ylunicipal Code is amended by the amendment of Section 21.10.010(2)
to read as follows:
(2) Accessory buildings and structures, including private garages to accommodate vehicles owned, operated and used by
residents of the dwelling unit and which are compatible with the
surrounding neighborhood in which the residence is located.
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty
days after its adoption, and the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this ordinance and cause it to be published at least
3nce in the Carlsbad Journal within fifteen days after its
adopt ion.
INTRODUCED and first read at a regular meeting of the
Zarlsbad City Council held on the 20th day of October, 1984, and
thereafter;
