ORDINANCE NO. 3201
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 10, CHAPTER
10.44 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE BY THE
ADDITION OF SECTION 10.44.200 TO ESTABLISH THE
SPEED LIMIT ON CADENCIA STREET FROM A POINT 500-
FEET WEST OF PERDIZ STREET TO RANCHO SANTA FE ROAD.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, hereby ordains as
follows:
SECTION 1: That Title IO, Chapter 10.44 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code
is amended by the addition of Section 10.44.200 to read as follows:
"10.44.200 Cadencia Street: Upon Cadencia Street from a point 500-
feet west of Perdiz Street to its intersection with Rancho Santa Fe
Road, the prima facie speed limit shall be twenty-five miles per
hour."
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after
its adoption and the City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad shall certify to the
adoption
Carlsbad Journal within fifteen days after its adoption.

INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a regular meeting of said City Council held
on the 5th day of August , 1986, and thereafter
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City
Council held on the 12th day of August , 1986 by the following vote, to -
wit:
AYES: Council Members Casler, Lewis, Kulchin, Chick and Pettine
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
