ORDINANCE NO. 3203
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE IO, CHAPTER
10.44 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE BY THE
ADDITION OF SECTION 10.44.210 TO ESTABLISH THE
SPEED LIMIT ON ALICANTE ROAD FROM ALGA ROAD TO
CORTE DE LA VISTA

The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, hereby ordains as
follows:
SECTION 1: That Title 10, Chapter 10.44 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code
is amended by the addition of Section 10.44.210 to read as follows:
1110.44.210 Alicante Road: Upon Alicante Road from Alga Road to its
intersection Corte De La Vista, the prima facie speed limit shall be
thirty-five miles per hour."
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after
its
adoption
adoption and the City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad shall certify to the
this ordinance and cause it to be published at least once in the of
Carlsbad Journal within fifteen days after its adoption.
INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a regular meeting of said City Council held
on the 16th day of September , 1986, and thereafter
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City
Council held on the 23rd day of September , 1986 by the following vote, to
wit:
AYES: Council Members Casler, Lewis, Kulchin, Chick and Pettine
NOES: None
