ORDINANCE NO. 8108
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 18, CHAPTER 18.08, BY THE AMENDMENT OF SECTION
18.08.010 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE TO ADOPT BY REFERENCE OF THE UNIFORM MECHANICAL CODE (1985 EDITION).
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1: That Title 18 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code is amended by
the amendment of Section 18.08.010 to read as follows:
18.08.010 Adopted. The 1985 Edition of the Uniform Mechancial Code,
zopyrighted by the International Conference of Building Officials and the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials, is adopted by reference as the mechanical code of the City.
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty days after its
3doption, and the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and
:awe it to be published at least once in the Carlsbad Journal within fifteen days
lfter its adoption.
INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City
Zouncil held on the 28th day of October , 198 6 , and thereafter -
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of said Council held on the
, 198 6 , by the following vote to wit: - 12th day of November
AYES: Council Members Casler, Lewis, Kulchin, Chick and Pettine
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
