The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, does ordain as follows
SECTION 1: That Title 18, Chapter 18.16 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code
s amended by the amendment of Section 18.16.010 to read as follows:
ORDINANCE NO. 8109
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 18,
CHAPTER 18.16, BY THE AMENDMENT OF SECTION
18.16.010 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE TO
ADOPT BY REFERENCE THE UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE
(1985 EDITION).
18.16.010 Adopted. The 1985 Edition of the Uniform Plumbing Code,
:opyrighted by the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials,
s adopted by reference as the plumbing code of the City, except for the change
idditions, and amendments set forth in this chapter, which shall supersede the wovisions of said code.
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty days after its
doption, and the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and
:awe it to be published at least once in the Carlsbad Journal within fifteen days
fter its adoption.
INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City
, 1986 , and thereafter - louncil held on the 28th day of October
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of said Council held on the
12thday of November , 198 6 , by the following vote to wit: -
AYES: Council Members Casler, Lewis, Kulchin, Chick and Pettine
NOES : None
