AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA AMENDING TITLE 5 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE
BY AMENDING SECTION 5.28.030(a)(8) TO REQUIRE THE CABLE FRANCHISEE TO MAINTAIN AND REPLACE EQUIPMENT AND FACILITIES
FOR THE TERM OF THE FRANCHISE AND SECTION 5.28.050(a) TO EXTEND THE TERM OF THE FRANCHISE TO NOVEMBER 19, 1996.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, Carlsbad does ordain as

Section 1: That Title 5, Chapter 5.28, Section 5.28.030 of the
:arkbad Municipal Code is amended by the amendment of Subsection (a) and (8)

(a) The franchise granted by the Council under this Chapter shall be

EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty days after
its adoption; and the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance
and cause it to be published at least once in the Carlsbad Journal within
fifteen days after its adoption.
INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a meeting of the Carlsbad City Council

2nd day of December , 1986 by the following vote, to wit:
