ORDINANCE NO. 3226
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 10, CHAPTER 10.44 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE BY THE ADDITION OF SECTION 10.44.270 TO ESTABLISH THE SPEED LIMIT ON PONTIAC DRIVE FROM TAMARACK AVENUE TO VICTORIA AVENUE.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, hereby ordains as
Fol 1 ows :
SECTION 1: That title 10, Chapter 10.44 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code
is amended by the addition of Section 10.44.270 to read as follows:
"10.44.270 Pontiac Drive: Upon Pontiac Drive from Tamarack Avenue to its intersection with Victoria Avenue, the prima facie speed
limit shall be thirty-five miles per hour."
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days
after it adoption and the City Clerk, City of Carlsbad shall certify to the
adoption of this ordinance and cause it to be published at least once in the
2arlsbad Journal within fifteen (15) days after its adoption.
INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a regular meeting of said City Council held
3n the 22nd day of December , 1987, and thereafter,
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City
2ouncil held on the 5th day of January ,1988, by the following vote, to
dit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Pettine, Mamaux and Larson
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
