AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA AMENDING TITLE 2, CHAPTER 2.28 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE BY THE REVISION OF SECTION 2.28.050 BY THE ADDITION OF PEDESTRIAN SAFETY TO THE DUTIES OF THE TRAFFIC
SAFETY COMMISSION.

7 SECTION 1: That Title 2, Chapter 2.28 of the Carlsbad Municip
8 is amended by the revision of Section 2.28.050 to read as follows:

"2.28.050 Duties. It shall be the duty of the Traffic Safety Commis
study all matters referred to it concerning traffic and pedestrian
and to make written recommendations to the City Council regarding IT
that should be taken to promote traffic and pedestrian safety wit1

1. Review staff studies and make recommendations to the City on matters involving traffic and pedestrian safety;
i 2. Provide a public forum to review citizen complaints and r regarding traffic and pedestrian safety;
