AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 21 OF THE
CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE BY THE ADDITION OF
CHAPTER 21.105 TO ALLOW RECYCLING FACILITIES
WITHIN THE CITY OF CARLSBAD.

21.105.010 Recyclable Material - "Recyclable material reusable material including but not limited to metals, gl plastic and paper, which are intended for reuse, remanufact or reconstitution for the purpose of using the altered form. addition, recyclable material is material that is permittec be recycled at a given site and facility. 21.105.025 Reverse Vendina Machine - A "Reverse Ven Machine" (RVM) is an automated mechanical device which acc one or more types of empty containers including, but not lim to aluminum cans, glass, and plastic bottles, and issues a refund or a redeemable credit slip with a value not less the container's redemption value as determined by the State, RVM may sort and process containers mechanically provided 1 the entire process is enclosed within the machine. A bulk is a RVM that is larger than 50 square feet: is designed

21.105.030 Recvclina Collection Facilities Allowed Commercial and Industrial Zones - Recycling collec' facilities shall be allowed in commercial and industrial ZI upon approval of a Conditional Use Permit pursuant to Cha]
