AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 13, CHAPTER 13.10 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO SEWER CAPACITY FEE.

SECTION I: That Title 13, Chapter 13.10 of the Carlsbad Mun
Code is amended by the amendment of the first sentence of Section 13.10.
read as follows
"Except as provided, every person who wishes to use the City system and the Encina Treatment Plant shall pay to the City prior
issuance of a sewer permit, a sewer capacity fee of one thousand, two h
and fifty dollars ($1,250.00) per equivalent dwelling unit.
The Sewer Capacity Fee shall be adjusted annually, effective J according to the Engineering News Record Los Angeles Construction Cost with a base year index of 5,500."
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty days
its adoption, and the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption 0'
ordinance and cause it to be pub1 ished at least once in the Carlsbad ;
within fifteen days after its adoption.
