AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
06 . 09 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE BY THE
SCAVENGING OF RECYCLABLE MATERIALS DESIGNATED FOR
COLLECTION IN A CITY CURBSIDE RECYCLING PROGRAM
CARLSBXD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 6, CHAPTER
ADDITI0:N OF SECTION 06.09.091 TO PROHIBIT

Ir06.09. 091 Scavenqinq Prohibited. No person, other tha
the owner thereof, the owners agents or employees, a officer or employee of the City, or a duly authorize agent, or an agent's employees authorized for SUC purposes, shall do any of the following:
1. Tamper or meddle with any solid waste collectio
container or container for recyclable material:

recyclable material ;
3. Remove the contents of any solid wastl
collection container for recyclable materials;
4. Remove any solid waste collection container 0'
container for recyclable material from the locatio:
where the container has been placed by the owner o
the container or the owner's agent;
5. Remove, or tamper or meddle with, any soli!
waste or recyclable material set out for collection
pursuant to the provisions of this Title, on privatl
property or on any sidewalk, street or public right-
of --way.
