ORDINANCE NO. NS-67
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 10, CHAPTER 10.44 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE BY THE ADDITION OF SECTION 10.44.330 TO ESTABLISH THE SPEED LIMIT UPON PALOMAR AIRPORT ROAD FROM EL CAMINO REAL TO THE EASTERLY CITY LIMIT.

fol 1 ows :
SECTION 1: That Title 10, Chapter 10.44 of the Carlsbad Municipal
amended by the addition of Section 10.44.330 to read as follows:
"10.44.330 Pal omar AirPort Road: Upon Pal omar Airport Road from El
Real to the easterly City 1 imit the prima facie speed 1 imi t shall bc five miles per hour."
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) dal
its adoption and the City Clerk, City of Carlsbad shall certify to the a
of this ordinance and cause it to be pub1 ished at 1 east once in the C
Journal within fifteen (15) days after its adoption.
INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a regular meeting of said City Counc
on the 2nd day of May , 1989, and thereafter,
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsb
Council held on the 9th day of May , 1985
following vote, to wit:

RE: ORDINANCE NO. NS-67
Ordinance NS-67 was adopted on May 9, 1989, to set the speed limit on
Palomar Airport Rd. from El Camino Real to the easterly City Limit.
In the Ordinance, Section 10.44.330 was added to the the Carlsbad
Municipal Code.
When the Ordinance was codified by Book Publishing, the new regulation
was placed under Section 10.44.170 "Palomar Airport Rd." which already
existed in the CMC. The new regulation was added as subsection (b)
in order to keep all regulations for Palomar Airport Rd. together.
