ORDINANCE NO. NS-74
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA AMENDING TITLE 6, CHAPTER 6.02 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE BY THE ADOPTION OF SECTION 6.02.017 TO ADOPT BY
REFERENCE THE RECENTLY ADOPTED SAN DIEGO
COUNTY CODE OF REGULATORY ORDINANCES FOR THE REGULATION OF THE STORAGE AND DISPOSAL OF
MEDICAL WASTES.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, Californiz
ordain as follows:
SECTION I: That Title 6, Chapter 6.02 of the Car
Municipal Code is amended by the addition of Section 6.02.0
read as follows:
tt6.02.017 Adopted by reference - medical wastes.
6, Division 8, Chapter 12, of the San Diego County Coc Regulatory Ordinances, as adopted on March- 14, 1989 relating t regulation of the storage and disposal of medical wastes is ad by reference and incorporated as part of this code, except
wherever the provisions thereof refer to a county of San
Board, territory, area, agency, official, employee or other
it shall mean the corresponding board, territory, area, agi
official , employee or otherwise of the City, and if there is :
it shall mean that the county is acting in the same capacii behalf of the City."
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective t:
days after its adoption, and the City Clerk shall certify t
adoption of this ordinance and cause it to be published at
once in the Carlsbad Journal within fifteen days after
adoption.
