AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 18, CHAPTER
18.08, BY THE AMENDMENT OF SECTION 18.08.01 0 OF
THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE TO ADOPT BY REFERENCE
THE UNIFORM MECHANICAL CODE (1988 EDITION).
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, does ordain as follov

amended by the amendment of Section 18.08.01 0 to read as follows:
18.08.01 0 Adopted. The 1988 Edition of the Uniform Mechanical
copyrighted by the International Conference of Building Officials and the Intern
Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials, is adopted by reference
mechanical code of the City.
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty days after its adc
and the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and cause it
