ORDINANCE NO. NS-116
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 10, CHAPTER 10.44
OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE BY THE AMENDMENT OF
SECTION 10.44.060 TO ESTABLISH A PRIMA FACIE 50 MILE PER
HOUR SPEED LIMIT UPON EL CAMINO REAL FROM HOSP WAY TO
LISA STREET
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California hereby ordains as follows:
SECTION 1: That Title 10, Chapter 10.44 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code is amel
the amendment of Section 10.44.060 to read as follows:
"10.44.060 El Camino Real
prima facie speed limit shall be fifty miles per hour.
speed limit shall be fifty-five miles per hour.
speed limit shall be thirty-five miles per hour."
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty days after its adoption
a. Upon El Camino Real from Hosp Way to its intersection with Lisa Sb
b. Upon El Camino Real from Lisa Street to the south City limits the prin
