ORDINANCE NO. NS-133
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA TO INCREASE THE AUTHORITY
OF THE CITY MANAGER TO AWARD CONTRACTS AND
CHANGE ORDERS AND TO RAISE THE THRESHOLD LEVEL
FOR FORMAL BIDDING.

6 The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California does ordain as follow
7 SECTION 1: That Title 3, Chapter 3.28 of the Carlsbad Municipal ( * amended by the amendment of Section 3.28.1 20 to replace "fifteen thousand doll:

the term I'twenty-five thousand dollars" in the first sentence thereof.

and the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and cause it 7
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty days after its ad(
published at least once in the Carlsbad Journal within fifteen days after its adopt

amended by the amendment of Section 3.28.1 72(b)(3) to replace "fifty thousand c
with the term "seventy-five thousand dollars" and "fifteen thousand dollars" with th
"twenty-five thousand dollars" wherever they appear.
