ORDINANCE NO. NS-147
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 10, CHAPTER 10.44 OF THE CARLSBAD
MUNICIPAL CODE BY THE AMENDMENT OF SECTION 10.44.060 TO
ESTABLISH A PRIMA FACIE 50 MILE PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT UPON EL
CAMINO REAL FROM LISA STREET TO THE SOUTH CITY LIMIT.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California hereby ordains as folloH
SECTION 1 : That Title 10, Chapter 10.44 of the Carlsbad Municipal Coc
amended by the amendment of Section 10.44.060 to read as follows:
"1 0.44.060 El Camino Real:
the prima facie speed limit shall be fifty miles per hour.
the prima facie speed limit shall be thirty-five miles per hour."
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty days after is ador
and the City Clerk, City of Carlsbad shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance
cause it to be published at least once in the Carlsbad Journal within fifteen (1 5) days t
its adoption.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad (
Council held on the 7th day of May , 1991 by the following vote, to wit:
