ORDINANCE NO. NS-146
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 8, CHAPTER 8.17 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE BY THE AMENDMENT OF SECTION 8.17.150 TO REVISE THE REGULATION FOR CLOSURE OF STREETS DURING SPECIAL EVENTS.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1: That Title 8, Chapter 8.17 of thc
Carlsbad Municipal Code is amended by the amendment 01
subsection 8.17.150(b)(l) to read as follows:
"Signs advising the date and time of the closurc shall be posted on secondary arterial, major arterial or prirnc arterial streets, or streets on which more than fivc intersections will be closed, at least 10 days prior to thc date of closure;I1
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effectivc
thirty days after its adoption, and the City Clerk shall
certify to the adoption of this ordinance and cause it to bc
published at least once in the Carlsbad Journal within fifteel
days after its adoption.
