ORDINANCE NO. NS-220
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 10, CHAPTER 10.44 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE BY THE REVISION OF
SECTION 10.44.120 TO ESTABLISH A PRIMA FACIE 35 MILE PER
HOUR SPEED LIMIT UPON PARK DRIVE FROM HILLSIDE DRIVE TO
VALENCIA AVENUE.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, hereby orda.
fol 1 ows :
SECTION 1: That Title 10, Chapter 10.44, of the Carlsbad Municipa
is amended by the revision of Section 10.44.120 to read as follows:
"10.44.120 Park Drive:
Upon Park Drive from Hillside Drive to its intersection with
Valencia Avenue, the prima facie speed limit shall be
thirty-five miles per hour."
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty days aft(
adoption and the City Clerk, City of Carlsbad, shall certify to the adopt,
this ordinance and cause it to be pub1 ished at least once in the Carl sbad J(
within fifteen (15) days after its adoption.
INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a regular meeting of said City Counci'
on the 5th day of JANUARY , 1993, and thereafter.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carl sbad
Council held on the Ehday of January , 1993 by the following
to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Stanton, Kulchin, Nygaard and Finnil;
NOES: None
