NS-251 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 10, CHAPTER 10.44 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE BY THE AMENDMENT OF SECTION 10.44.030 TO REVISE THE EXISTING 35 MILE PER HOUR PRIMA FACIE SPEED LIMIT UPON A PORTION OF CARLSBAD BOULEVARD TO ESTABLISH A 30 MILE PER HOUR PRIMA FACIE SPEED LIMIT FROM TAMARACK AVENUE TO WALNUT AVENUE AND TO ESTABLISH A 25 MILE PER HOUR PRIMA FACIE SPEED LIMIT FROM WALNUT AVENUE TO MOUNTAIN VIEW DRIVE /I The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, Califor: 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 hereby ordains as follows: SECTION 1: That Title 10, Chapter 10.44 of the Carl; Municipal Code is amended by the amendment of Section 10.44.03 read as follows: 1t10.44.030 Carlsbad Boulevard. (a) Upon Carlsbad Boulevard from the north boundar: the City to its intersection with Mountain View Drive the p: facie speed limit shall be thirty-five miles per hour. 15 facie speed limit shall be thirty miles per hour. 18 17 prima facie speed limit shall be twenty-five miles per hour. 16 (b) Upon Carlsbad Boulevard from its intersection I Mountain View Drive to its intersection with Walnut Avenue, (c) Upon Carlsbad Boulevard from its intersection I Walnut Avenue to its intersection with Tamarack Avenue, the p: 19 20 21 22 23 (d) Upon Carlsbad Boulevard from its intersection I Tamarack Avenue to a point 1,400 feet south of the south1 boundary of the right-of-way of Manzano Drive, the prima fi speed limit shall be thirty-five miles per hour. (e) Upon Carlsbad Boulevard from a point 1,400 : south of the southerly boundary of the right-of-way of Man: Drive to the south boundary of the City, the prima facie SI limit shall be fifty miles per hour.tg 24 certify to the adoption of this ordinance and cause it tc 26 days after its adoption and the City Clerk, City of Carlsbad, S] 25 EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective th. 27 published at least once in the Carlsbad Sun within fifteen I/ 2811 days after its adoption.
