ORDINANCE NO. NS-376
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 10, CHAPTER 10.44, OF THE CARLSBAC
MUNICIPAL CODE BY THE ADDITION OF SECTION 10.44.450 TO ESTABLISH E
PRIMA FACIE 35 MILE PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT UPON RUTHERFORD ROAC
FROM FARADAY AVENUE TO ITS TERMINUS AT PRIESTLY DRIVE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, hereby ordains as
SECTION 1: That Title 10, Chapter 10.44, of the Carlsbad Municipal Code is ar
by the addition of Section 10.44.450 to read as follows:
"1 0.44.450 Rutherford Road:
Upon Rutherford Road from Faraday Avenue to its terminus at Priestly Drive, th
facie speed limit shall be thirty-five miles per hour."
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after its adopl
the City Clerk, City of Carlsbad, shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and cause
published at least once in a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Carlsbac
fifteen (15) days after its adoption.
INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a regular meeting of said City Council held

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City 1
held on the 3rd day of MAY , 1994 by the following vote, to wit:
