AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 10, CHAPTER 10.44, OF THE CARLSBAD
MUNICIPAL CODE BY THE ADDITION OF SECTION 10.44.480 TO ESTABLISH A
PRIMA FACIE 25 MILE PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT UPON CHATHAM ROAD FROM
CARLSBAD VILLAGE DRIVE TO ITS INTERSECTION WITH TAMARACKAVENUE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, hereby ordains as fol

8 by the addition of Section 10.44.480 to read as follows:
SECTION 1 : That Title 10, Chapter 10.44, of the Carlsbad Municipal Code is ame
9 "1 0.44.480 Chatham Road:
10 Upon Chatham Road from Carlsbad Village Drive to its intersection with Tam
la Avenue, the prima facie speed limit shall be twenty-five miles per hour."
12 EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after its adoptia
