AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 10, CHAPTER 10.44, OF THE CARLSBAC
MUNICIPALCODE BY THE AMENDMENTOF SECTION 10.44.190TO ESTABLISI-
A PRIMA FACIE 50 MILE PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT UPON THE SEGMENT OF
RANCHO SANTA FE ROAD FROM LA COSTA AVENUE TO ITS INTERSECTIOh
WITH OLIVENHAIN ROAD.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, hereby ordains as follows:
SECTION 1: That Title 10, Chapter 10.44, of the Carlsbad Municipal Code is a1
by the revision of Section 10.44.190 to read as follows:
"1 0.44.100 Rancho Santa Fe Road:
(a) Upon Rancho Santa Fe Road from the north city limits to its intersection with 1
Avenue, the prima facie speed limit shall be forty-five miles per hour.
(b) Upon Rancho Santa Fe Road from La Costa Avenue to its intersection with 01
Road, the prima facie speed limit shall be ffty miles per hour.
(c) Upon Rancho Santa Fe Road from Olivenhain Road to the south city limits, tt
facie speed limit shall be forty-five miles per hour."
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after its adop
