AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAC
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 10, CHAPTER 10.44, OF THE CARLSBA
MUNICIPALCODE BY THEAMENDMENT OF SECTION 10.44.1 10 TO ESTABUS!
A PRIMA FACIE 40 MILE PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT UPON THE SEGMENT 0
PASEO DEL NORTE FROM CAR COUNTRY DRIVE TO ITS INTERSECTION WIT
POINSETTIA LANE
The Ctty Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, hereby ordains as follows:
SECTION 1: That Title 10, Chapter 10.44, of the Carlsbad Municipal Code is I
by the revision of Section 10.44.1 10 to read as follows:
"10.44.1 10 Paseo Del Norte:
(a) Upon Paseo Del Norte from Cannon Road to its intersection with Car Coun
the prima facie speed limit shall be thirty-five miles per hour.
(b) Upon Paseo Del Norte from Car Country Drive to its intersection with Poinse
the prima facie speed limit shall be forty miles per hour."
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after its ado1
the City Clerk, City of Carlsbad, shall cert'ty to the adoption of this ordinance and caus
published at least once in a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Carlsb;
fifteen (15) days after its adoption.
INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a regular meeting of said Ci Council he
